Call for Artists: Feature Your Handmade Work at The Maker Holiday Pop-Up Shop

We are excited to invite local artists and makers to showcase their beautiful, handcrafted creations at The Maker, a holiday pop-up shop hosted by D H Makers. This is your opportunity to display your work in a high-traffic, prime location during the festive season, and be part of a celebration of quality, locally made goods.

The Maker will be hosted at Unit 3, 241 Station Road, in the heart of the vibrant Yeerongpilly Creative Precinct. Our shopfront, featuring large window displays, is ideally located adjacent to the bustling Andonis Cafe and Bar, ensuring a constant stream of visitors looking for unique, handmade items for their holiday shopping.

We are looking for makers of all kinds—whether you create jewelry, home décor, textiles, pottery, or other handcrafted treasures. We want to highlight beautifully made, original works that bring a personal, artistic touch to the Christmas season.

What We Offer:

• Prime Location: A visible, high-traffic space in a dynamic, creative area with large window displays designed to showcase your work.

• Holiday Focus: An exclusive pop-up shop from the 30th of November to the 22nd of December dedicated to celebrating handmade goods during the festive season.

• Exposure: Connect with customers who appreciate high-quality craftsmanship and are eager to support local artisans this Christmas.

• 35% commission rate all on goods, no shelf fees or sneaky costs. 35% commission is it!

• Report and payment for all sold stock made at the end of the pop up (23rd of December)

• Stock Drop off date: 29th of December at mutually arranged time
