Who are D H Makers?
D H Makers is mother and daughter maker duo Deb and Holly. They create beautiful, earthy and organic functional ware, artistic statement pieces and ceramic jewellery. The process of harvesting, recycling and mixing clays to achieve the noted iron flecks and discipline of a limited palette ensures distinctive work.
The influence of Deb and Holly’s environments is also evident in their pieces. The use of a surprising amalgamation of blues, honey browns, speckled whites and earthy greens perfectly captures the essences of the coastal and city areas in which they call home.

Catherine - Hand building and Wheel Instructor
Catherine is a Brisbane Ceramic Artist who began her ceramic career in 2020 and since starting has never really stopped making. With a background in textile art, she enjoys mixing clay and cotton, as well as making little animals to add joy in people’s homes.

Andie - Art Night Coordinator
Andie fell in love with ceramics in 2019 and has been hand building ever since. They love creating weird little objects and sculptures, turning functional objects into works of art and decoration. Their main inspirations are flora & fauna as well as the works of Hilma Af Klint.
